Our 5/10-14 Ozzy Crane Borer has capacity to carry 2 poles to and from site and is a simple reliable well maintained work horse.

ABM Power has operated for 23 years and draws on 33 years experience. We are based in Toowoomba and are set up to service South East and South West Queensland. ABM has been a family owned and operated business from establishment to present.

We have worked in the Queensland Electricity Supply Industry from SEQEB through to Energy Queensland, including many major contractors in Electricity Distribution construction and maintainance. Over this time we have been involved in:

-Overhead works including Glove and Barrier Live Line techniques.

-Underground cable works from LV through to 110kv cable installation and termination of XLPE and Paper Lead cables.

-Civil works and conduit installation through existing infrastructure and in Substations including bulk earthworks.

- Crane Borer hire both wet and dry hire in QLD, NSW and WA.

-Electrical Construction of URD estates including civil work.

ABM’s current focus is to provide a service to the Electricity Supply Industry of a Tracked Crane borer to provide access to challenging places such as wet, boggy, sandy and steep terrain. Our 15m 5/10t Terex crane borer is mounted on a Morooka Low ground pressure carrier. The Morooka is able to carry poles and materials on site (typically transformers, pole hardware and bags of road base) to location, install them and recover existing ones as required. Our Morooka is also able to assist with access of other machines and equipment or recovery when stuck in adverse conditions.
